Every time I have to cruise around on my screen, dragging windows here, clicking hyperlinks there, I know I can rely on the performance of the Microsoft 4-Button wireless mouse. But my love for this mouse goes much further than that, let me tell you. The microsoft 3000 mouse is so small that I can even carry it around in my pants and shorts pocket.

I love this mouse because when I’m in a jam and my roommate or girlfriend walks in, its speed and accuracy makes me an expert window-closer. Not only that, but since the wireless notebook mouse has a built-in back button above the scroll wheel, I can navigate easily through my browser or folders.

But when all that fails… I just tell my girlfriend “I don’t know how those pictures got their! The computer is just opening them automatically! I think it’s a virus! I don’t know how to stop it!” lol. Thankfully, this doesn’t happen very often, though I am a good person.

Since the laptop mouse is so small, and the USB wireless dongle clips to the bottom of the notebook mouse and you can take it wherever you need to go.

The body of the wireless laptop mouse is not bad looking but not very fancy either. It features a contoured design that makes it fairly comfortable to hold for short periods of time but after while my hand hurt which could just be me or the way the mouse was designed. It is made to work with left and right handed computer user’s. The left and right buttons are nearly full-size and are pretty much easy to click. The scrollwheel is a little small and only allows vertical scroll, unlike most wireless notebook mouses which use four-way scroll wheel.

The Microsoft Mobile 3000 wireless notebook mouse comes with a USB receiver that snaps into the bottom of the mouse, a feature we consider essential on notebook mice. It was nice of Microsoft to include a small USB receiver, fortunately this dongle is fairly powerful, and provided just about 3 feet of range when I tested it *(will vary depending on conditions and your notebook setup). Even with the wireless notebook mouse use range, I was impressed with the tracking performance… You won’t notice any lag or errors from the mobile mouse which has a 1,000dpi optical sensor rating.

The Microsoft Mobile 3000 Wireless Notebook Mouse offers basic mousing functionality at a pretty cheap price. Unfortunately, it’s a little too basic and weak for my everyday personal use and I prefer the mobile mouse 6000 series for my laptop notebook.

The main selling point for this wireless notebook mouse is the free scrolling mouse wheel. You can switch between normal wheel function and a free-flowing scroll that just spins naturally, easily and is extremely hard to explain and put into words. The wheel on the Logitech MX Revolution Advanced Wireless Notebook Mouse is beautifully weighted, and scrolling through web pages, documents, zooming and just about everything. The feeling of this wireless notebook mouse is so much more natural than I’d imagine and I did not think I would enjoy using it so much. The only downside to the Logitech MX Wireless Notebook Mouse is the bluetooth signal from the dongle is a little bit on the weak side and get’s a little irritating until you find the perfect spot for it. This may be due to how precise the wireless notebook mouse, I do not know officially why this was built like that.

I honestly cannot explain how much more natural a wireless notebook mouse feels. On a lesser level, this is the difference you experience when you start using the wheel. When I used my computer mouse after at home, I really felt the difference and after an hour I ended up buying one myself since I the wheel features I use daily and it helped in alot of tasks I do everyday. In my opinion, I wish the side scroll button could be moved just a little bit but this could vary based on your hand size but for most people this won’t even be an issue.

This one from Microsoft uses BlueTrack laser technology and has a tiny Nano transceiver that doesn’t need to be unplugged form the notebook when on the go. The mouse has 2.4GHz wireless with a 30 foot range just about. On the bottom you can find a on/off switch to maximize battery life and another notable feature about this is that it has five programmable buttons which really do come in handy.

I found that this laptop mouse had excellent tracking on all surfaces I used it on. I tested this mobile mouse on every surface I could find – the bluetrack laser worked perfect on all surfaces and had good accuracy as well even on rough and horrible surfaces for mice (lol, well I did have to test it so I did everything I could think of).

The Microsoft Mobile 6000 Wireless Notebook Mouse is the best wireless mobile mouse Microsoft offers. The tiny Nano transceiver makes connecting a breeze even for new notebook users. This 6000 series wireless notebook mouse is a quality built laptop and notebook mouse for any mobile user to a full time computer professional.

Functionality wise the laptop mouse has a lot to it. It carries with it bluetooth technology, battery indicator, laser technology and 1000dpi. I would like to point out that there was no software utility included in the package, however I downloaded the Microsoft IntelliMouse utility from their website but sadly it did not support the wireless mobile mouse in the list as of this date. Since this mouse is fairly new It should be included soon because I saw a lot of other notebook mice in the current list.

The price is pretty fair considering you know who makes this notebook mouse.but at the end its a fair price for the features it represents and you get what you pay for; not to forget the fact that this is a laser mouse. You can usually find the 69R-00001 on sale on eBay. However I can not justify the price for everyone as it comes to everyone’s personal choice and how much one considers is a good price for a notebook mouse.

I’ve always paid more for a name brand, better working mouse but that is me and all this is just my opinion. The Microsoft 69R-00001 wireless bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 is a great buy for those buyers who demand a feature packed mouse for their notebook with bluetooth compatibility and laser technology with 1000dpi. I can highly recommended this mouse to any users looking for a feature packed mouse for a fairly decent price and it comes backed by a 3yr warranty.

Microsoft clearly considered laptop users most requested features and jammed them all, and then some, into 1 ready to use must have mouse, ESPECIALLY if your a business man. We’re talking small size & form bluetooth connectivity, a carrying case, an on/off switch, laser tracking technology, presentation controls, customizable extra buttons, a laser pointer and an all around functional and strong framework. I’m at a loss for ideas on what could be added to this basically fully complete laptop mouse.

The first thing you’ll notice is the interesting packaging of the Notebook Presenter Mouse which is suspended in a plastic shell so that it can be spun around and viewed from all angles. This shell is also a feature of the mouse: the included wrist strap can be woven through a few holes to make a convenient carrying case that is neither bulky or delicate. The reason for the tricked-out packaging is clearly to show off the bottom surface, which are located the presentation controls.

In the box you’ll find the unit, contained in its case, as well as a bluetooth adapter, driver disc and wrist strap. The Notebook Presenter Mouse itself isn’t the most stylish or beautiful device of its kind we’ve seen, but it does look quite clean and streamlined. The top surface has three extra buttons, with the two on either side of the regular mouse buttons assignable with downloadable software to any one of nearly limitless functions, including zoom, magnify region, and Flip 3D. The button located by the four-way scroll wheel switches the device between Presentation and Mouse modes. However, it’s the bottom surface of the gadget where the magic really happens. Next Slide, Previous Slide, Blank Screen, Laser Pointer, and Volume Up/Down functions are all clearly accessible, as are the tiny connect button and power switch. The intended use is clear… supply a standard featured issue mouse buttons for regular use, and specialized buttons for use during meetings and other important presentations. Sweet!

The bluetooth dongle is paired with the mouse at the factory so there is no need to pair the wireless notebook mouse. In mouse mode, the buttons along the bottom surface are rendered inactive, while in Presentation mode, the normal mouse buttons are unresponsive (except the mode button itself, which is a little too easy to accidentally hit). As for the laser pointer, it can be used in either mode and is projected out the front of the mouse. Also, the presentation mode controls can be used to manipulate Windows Media Player, letting the doohickey double as a nice little remote control with a 30ft range as well.

Batteries are loaded from the back which you need 2 AAA’s. We would comment on the wireless mouse overall battery life, but after a couple months of daily use and several friends telling me, no one had to replace them yet.

The device itself is on par with other Microsoft mice we have used, and has no lag when waking from power save mode. While we would have been happy with optical technology, the wireless mouse actually uses laser tracking – 1000dpi and up to 6000fps. The integrated laser pointer is slightly smaller than dedicated ones, and red in color. In terms of presentation button placement, rest assured the setup’s intuitive enough that when we handed the Notebook Presenter Mouse off to people who hadn’t used it beforehand, there were able to quickly pick up the basics without any trouble.

I cannot recommend a more laptop notebook ready mouse more highly than the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter 8000. To be blunt, it is the ideal option for anyone who gives presentations with any regularity. Every possible feature one could ask for is included. With the number of input devices that have come across our desk, you’d think it’d be easier to come up with a few desirable features absent from this gadget. Not so – microsoft 8000 mouse has just about every extra you can imagine, and implements every functional feature to the tee. Clap Clap Microsoft.

The design of the mouse is quite streamlined and neatly fits in your hand with all the buttons at easy access. The unit also has a rubber-like material on the sides of the mouse for added grip while using the mouse. Although the laptop mouse does come with software, Vista flawless installed the software without any prompting from the user at all. Another interesting feature is that the USB wireless receiver is quite small and is perfect for laptop users or even desktop users who wish to minimize clutter and weight while on the go.

With the battery replacement only required every year (depending on your daily usage), this wireless notebook mouse is the perfect accessory for your laptop or desktop machine. Unfortunately we cannot wait 12 months to test this fact but considering the track record of Logitech, this claim is more than likely highly accurate. When the mouse is not being used, it automatically powers down to maximize battery life and by moving the mouse again, the unit returns to usability after a brief pause! I love this feature!

We tested the mouse with a variety of software such as Windows Vista, Adobe Products, Office 2007 and even WoW which all were extremely accurate and smooth, with no lag whatsoever. Design programs performed remarkably well and were extremely accurate. The unit is also 2.4Ghz which means interference will be non-existent or a concern.

Basically the Logitech V450 wireless laptop mouse is a great ergonomically designed mouse that is easy to install and best of all is quite compact and sturdy. Definitely one for the user on the go or for those that want the best at an affordable price.

My favorites about the Microsoft explorer mini wireless notebook mouse are that the mouse glides effortlessly and is very comfortable using even after long periods of time. The USB dongle is very small compared to most wireless notebook mice available and the 5 programmable buttons (worked perfect on both a Mac and PC) are a huge advantage for any work that you need to tackle. I even like how they removed any clicking sound from using the mouse wheel and spinning it feels so awesome… a little to much fun. What really amazes me and has to be one of the best features IMO which is that it only uses 1 AA battery which you don’t have to replace often even with daily or constant use.

I know most gamers would scream at the thought of using a wireless notebook mouse for gaming – but I’m not much of a gamer anymore. I have to say that so far in the free trial games I have tried like WoW and a few some first person shooter games, the Microsoft explorer wireless notebook mouse works flawlessly. No latency, no stuttering/lag, no issues at all this laptop mouse.

After you use one, you’ll be definitely recommending the Microsoft Explorer Mini wireless laptop mouse to friends and family. If you are looking for a desktop version, try the Explorer with BlueTrack. Slightly larger, comes with a charging station and is made for desktop users. You cannot go wrong regardless of which one fits your needs better.

This wireless notebook mouse I think is very comfortable to use and never put a strain on my hand. It has a unique soft grip feeling and strange but effective ambidextrous shape adds to the comfort. I was and still am amazed at the battery life of the RX720 computer mouse. Logitech’s wireless notebook mouse battery life last’s literally just about 12 months of use! That is amazing considering the Logitech RX720 3 Button Advanced 2.4GHz 1000dpi Wireless Notebook Mouse has a awesome (you’ll know what I mean when you try it) 3 button advanced tilt wheel giving you side to side scrolling and zoom with ease while working with spreadsheets, presentations and can be programmed for just about anything with software you can download on Logitech’s website.

The part number on my retail box says Mfg Part#: 910-001050 and I am not sure if they make different colors but mine is black.
