Logitech has another nano notebook mouse design in the market with the V450, their wireless notebook mouse that not only boasts a 12 month battery life but also wireless laser accuracy that is extremely comfortable and easy to use. Targeting the mobile market, this mouse will definitely bring a change in quality mousing products and for the very low retail price, there is little to complain about this item.
The design of the mouse is quite streamlined and neatly fits in your hand with all the buttons at easy access. The unit also has a rubber-like material on the sides of the mouse for added grip while using the mouse. Although the laptop mouse does come with software, Vista flawless installed the software without any prompting from the user at all. Another interesting feature is that the USB wireless receiver is quite small and is perfect for laptop users or even desktop users who wish to minimize clutter and weight while on the go.
With the battery replacement only required every year (depending on your daily usage), this wireless notebook mouse is the perfect accessory for your laptop or desktop machine. Unfortunately we cannot wait 12 months to test this fact but considering the track record of Logitech, this claim is more than likely highly accurate. When the mouse is not being used, it automatically powers down to maximize battery life and by moving the mouse again, the unit returns to usability after a brief pause! I love this feature!
We tested the mouse with a variety of software such as Windows Vista, Adobe Products, Office 2007 and even WoW which all were extremely accurate and smooth, with no lag whatsoever. Design programs performed remarkably well and were extremely accurate. The unit is also 2.4Ghz which means interference will be non-existent or a concern.
Basically the Logitech V450 wireless laptop mouse is a great ergonomically designed mouse that is easy to install and best of all is quite compact and sturdy. Definitely one for the user on the go or for those that want the best at an affordable price.

I recently picked up a wireless notebook mouse by Microsoft called a Explorer Mini with BlueTrack Mobile Mouse. So far, I am very satisfied with the quality and usability of the mouse (both on Mac and PC). BlueTrack is definitely not a gimmick, and it turns virtually any surface into a “portable laptop” mouse pad especially since I’d never think in a 100 years that the couch would make a decent notebook mouse pad, LOL!
My favorites about the Microsoft explorer mini wireless notebook mouse are that the mouse glides effortlessly and is very comfortable using even after long periods of time. The USB dongle is very small compared to most wireless notebook mice available and the 5 programmable buttons (worked perfect on both a Mac and PC) are a huge advantage for any work that you need to tackle. I even like how they removed any clicking sound from using the mouse wheel and spinning it feels so awesome… a little to much fun. What really amazes me and has to be one of the best features IMO which is that it only uses 1 AA battery which you don’t have to replace often even with daily or constant use.
I know most gamers would scream at the thought of using a wireless notebook mouse for gaming – but I’m not much of a gamer anymore. I have to say that so far in the free trial games I have tried like WoW and a few some first person shooter games, the Microsoft explorer wireless notebook mouse works flawlessly. No latency, no stuttering/lag, no issues at all this laptop mouse.
After you use one, you’ll be definitely recommending the Microsoft Explorer Mini wireless laptop mouse to friends and family. If you are looking for a desktop version, try the Explorer with BlueTrack. Slightly larger, comes with a charging station and is made for desktop users. You cannot go wrong regardless of which one fits your needs better.

I wanted to talk about the Logitech RX720 wireless notebook mouse that has been out for awhile and still one of the top rated computer mouse. The RX720 3 Button Advanced 2.4GHz 1000dpi Wireless Notebook Mouse from Logitech offers a powerful, advanced 1000dpi 2.4GHz wireless laser connection. In addition to the laser precision, it gives you high productivity functions found on more expensive mice but this wireless notebook mouse won’t cost you much and is priced at an exceptional value.
This wireless notebook mouse I think is very comfortable to use and never put a strain on my hand. It has a unique soft grip feeling and strange but effective ambidextrous shape adds to the comfort. I was and still am amazed at the battery life of the RX720 computer mouse. Logitech’s wireless notebook mouse battery life last’s literally just about 12 months of use! That is amazing considering the Logitech RX720 3 Button Advanced 2.4GHz 1000dpi Wireless Notebook Mouse has a awesome (you’ll know what I mean when you try it) 3 button advanced tilt wheel giving you side to side scrolling and zoom with ease while working with spreadsheets, presentations and can be programmed for just about anything with software you can download on Logitech’s website.
The part number on my retail box says Mfg Part#: 910-001050 and I am not sure if they make different colors but mine is black.

In any bluetrack wireless notebook mouse, the sensor has been upgraded to a new technoo, the light and the component configuration have all been optimized for the best possible surface image for a variety of conditions. BlueTrack Technology provides the wireless notebook mouse and the computer with exceptionally accurate and detailed information for advanced tracking on almost any surface.
Bluetrack allows blue light which a sensor captures a high-contrast image of the surface. Basically the blue light beneficially interacts with fluorescent dyes within the surface to increase the amount of reflected light relative to an infrared laser beam. The physics is similar to the “blue light” used in crime-scene shows to examine surfaces.
All bluetrack computer mice works by emitting light that bounces back to a camera sensor. The sensor “sees” the surface and takes a picture – actually thousands of pictures per second. A custom CMOS ASIC analyzes the information in the photos to determine what’s changed from the previous image and sends that information to the computer. The computer responds to that information by moving the laptop mouse on more than 40 surfaces, including carpet, velvet, rattan mats, hardwood floors, finely polished wood surfaces, and lots more. BlueTrack Technology performed on almost every surface tested without any problems at all.

The Logitech V500 wireless notebook mouse is without a doubt one of the coolest laptop accessories out there. Its optical performance is unrivaled in wireless notebook mice and the small form factor is perfect for traveling. You will love the USB receiver that stores in the base of the mouse, it is one of the most innovative features to be found in a notebook mouse today. The Logitech V500 wireless notebook mouse is a very robust optical mouse, working on almost any surface and having an incredibly long range. Battery life appears to be excellent and the included carrying case really rounds out the package. Top it all off with a three year warranty and you have a functional, stylish, portable, and reliable wireless notebook mouse.
On the downside, the retail price of this wireless notebook mouse is a little more higher than the average but that’s basically its biggest fault. Reseller prices have dropped slightly making this a bit more affordable, but it is still considerably more expensive than competitor wireless notebook mice. If you want to invest in a well designed wireless notebook mouse and awesome piece of technology that is as functional as it is stylish, then the Logitech V500 cordless notebook mouse is for you. Despite the high price (that is just my opinion), we cannot help but love this wireless notebook mouse.

The Microsoft Mobile 4000 Wireless Notebook Mouse fits life on the go. This sporty, stylish little mouse goes wherever you do. With revolutionary Microsoft BlueTrack Technology, you can work your wireless notebook mouse in more places than ever before: including countertops, carpets and even on a wood table or a rough, unfinished park bench. The Mobile Wireless Notebook Mouse 4000 uses 2.4GHz wireless technology and comes with a plug and go nano transceiver. It has a 4-way scroll wheel and four customizable buttons. Retail price is pretty amazing which is very rare for a quality wireless notebook mouse.
